Whopple: How Long Have You Been An Artist?
Sarah: 25 years (on & off)
Whopple: Tell Us About Your First Attempts To Be Creative?
Sarah: When I was younger, I used to go to evening art groups after school. I became interested in figure drawing and still life. I also produced a few drawings of my bedroom and the view of the garden from my bedroom window. It was also at this time that I discovered Leonardo Da Vinci and Salvadore Dali and became inspired by them.
I also went through a phase of pressing foliage from the garden, keeping these as records of plant life, which I then made drawings of.

Whopple: How long have you been an artist?
Igor: I’ve being drawing for all my life, although only 5 years as a professional artist.
Whopple: Tell us about your first attempts to be creative.
Igor: It’s really hard to remember the first attempts as drawing was always like breathing for me – a natural state of mind. I remember how I used to be surprised when people told me they could not draw. I am a self-taught artist and I’ve being learning to create art for all my life.
