Today’s Artist Interview Is With Ellen Silverberg From East Hampton, New York.
Whopple: How long have you been an artist?
Ellen: Since I was a child. I attended the Art Student’s League in NYC at the age of ten.
Whopple: Tell us about your first attempts to be creative.
Ellen: For as long back as I can remember I loved making things with my hands. I also copied every painting from The World Book Encyclopedia that I could find.

Today’s Artist Interview Is With Clair Hartmann From Wilmington, North Carolina
Whopple: How long have you been an artist?
Clair: For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved drawing and have worked towards becoming an artist; my “real job” of graphic designer afforded me a creative outlet which has slowly transformed into that of a full time artist.
Whopple: Tell us about your first attempts to be creative.
Clair: I had a Dalmation when I was young and would draw her when she was sleeping. I also drew a lot in church, my bible was full of drawings.
