Artist Interview With Julia Farris

Today’s Artist Interview Is With Julia Farris from Savannah, GA.
Whopple: How long have you been an artist?
Julia: I come from a family of artists and have been interested in art of various forms all of my life. My interest in photography probably started in high school when I was on the photography staff, and after taking a photography course in college.
Whopple: Tell us about your first attempts to be creative.
Julia: I’ve tried various creative attempts throughout my life but didn’t seem to have been born with the talent for drawing & painting that my other family members have. Once I started combining my love of nature with my love of photography I felt I finally found my creative niche.
Artist Interview With Biju Mathew

Today’s Artist Interview Is With Biju Mathew From Kerala, India.
Whopple: How long have you been an artist?
Biju: Sorry to disappoint you with the age old answer…but… from childhood. I started to take art seriously (in other words, started selling my paintings) only about 10 years ago.
Whopple: Do you make a living with your art?
Biju: I sell most of my paintings. I am a full time artist in the sense that I always think about the visual possibilities of everything I see and every idea that comes across my mind. But I am also working as a teacher of English Literature in a Higher Secondary School. Literature always complements art, that is my experience.
Whopple: How many hours a day do you create?
Biju: Three to four hours on weekdays and double that during weekends.
